the yak 54 has a short fatter fuse and slightly more wing area.... from my experience they 3d very well, my pilot yak 54 is the best 3der i have flown.... i just wish it was a 100cc

i have a 260 it does decent 3d but it the most precise flying plane i have every flown, other than a pattern plane

the MX2 IMO flys in between the yak54 and the 260

i used to have a WH baby edge 540 i dont know if it is a fair comparison since it was a 1.20 size but it flew the worst of them all... it had a horrible coupleing issue on knife edge

i wouldnt mind owning a bigger 50cc+ Edge 540 but im scared it will have the same bad characteristic ...

MetallicaJunkie, do you think a 100cc would compronmise in any way the good quality characteristics of the Yak 54 ? perhaps cause of weight ?!
also - can anyone compare the Sukoi to the Yak 54 ?

100cc would bring out better flying characteristics of basically any scale aerobatic plane, especially when it come to IMAC/pattern and 3D planes ...imo 100cc is the biggest i would go personally and 50cc on up is where they really start to shine....after 100cc they almost double in price and become a pain in the @ass to transport...

bigger flys better in most cases... with the exception of a stick.... i like the maneuverability of a 40 size stick, but flew a giant gasser stick and it was a totally different animal, too tame for me.
