Default Dle 55cc Floating Mount

Check out this new DLE 55cc floating mount. I am going to try it out. Anyone know of any other floating mounts? I am still looking for a DLE 30cc floating mount.<a target="_blank" href="http://secraft.net/shop/step1.php?number=819">

since I really dont know, are your gears nylon, cabonite or metal? I was reading on another thread that metal is not the wayto go with a gas motor.

If you use braided fishing line from servo to arm...I do not think so. Most all vibration will be absorbed I am sure. Its like pull-pull... the carb spring pulls the arm back to closed position. I used a braided line on a DLE 30...seemed to work great. The kill button on my TXlet the throttle close tokil engine.Capt,n

You can buy a rubber isolation mount for the 55 from Merle Hyde, or you can read my thread on making your own, here in RCU. If you even built a model plane kit, you can make your own rubber isolation mount

My DLE55 rubber isolation mount is 5 1/8" in diameter. Construction is standard aircraft plywood and balsa with a motorcycle inner tube used as rubber isolator. I also add carbon cloth to the plywood for extra stiffness. Weight is 4 ozs.

My design is based on the popular Hyde mounts because it's the best from an isolation point of view; it works the same except probably won't cost you 200$, either from Seacraft or Hyde
