Default Headers

Has anyone tried this setup on a 50-55cc gasser? The airplane I am building is going to require a 45mm drop and this looks like the only way I can find to acheive that amount of drop. Not sure how good the canister is and I really wanted to go with an ES composites CF pipe so I may have to get this setup just for the header. Any other options?

Agreed....found that out the hard way even on a soft mounted set-up. Speedracer, suggest that you cut it at the goose neck and make the joint flexible. Also, I think I mentioned that DA makes an good flexible header for the 55cc size.

I dunno about more power, but it sounds better than a pitts and that flex pipe is pretty, well flexable for mounting the thing.

That looks like it may work out well. I wonder if I can get just the header? Matt, I have seen the DA unit but I'm not sure it will have enough drop. I measured everything out and for the Lasers I am building I need a 45mm drop. The ES pipe is going to exit a little more then halfway down the Fuse.
