Default Thread lock in DLE 20CC?

Hello guys,

I have a brand new DLE 20CC. In the manual, it says that I have to make sure all screws are tight. Good it says that because I can see that you can easily unscrew for instance the filter's cover screws..... I was wondering if I need to apply thread lock to any of the screws? if so, what color and what screws???? or should I only tight them with a screw driver????

thanks!

No you do not lock tite the carb's pump screw or the diapham screws.
You may want to locktite the throttle butterfly screw inside the carb while your working on the engine though.

Don't remove the throttle butterfly screw to loctite it. You will do more damage than good in the process. You can put a tiny bit of green, penetrating loctite on the threads if you wish and I would recommend that.
