Default 30 Deg or 28 Deg ?

Hey everyone

I own a DLA 56cc and a DLE 55cc engine, im trying to sort out the DLA at this time but for the life of me, cant seem to find anything in the manual or online that tells me how many degrees the ignition timing should be BTDC. I have seen a lot of talk about 28 and 30 degrees for other engines, ( is this the sweet spot no matter the engine size?).

Any thoughts, comments or links would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I like the 26/27 because of less vibration and you'll never notice the difference

Thanks for the answers...my next question is , how do i hold the hall sensor in the position required as its maxed out in travel at the 28 deg ( and i had to do some carving of the plastic so i could slide it to 28).

Thanks

well your going to have to live with 28* BTDC,or drill and tap new holes to get it to 26*.there are hall sensor out that have a hose clamp fix to it,that way you can do what ever.
