Default 3W 50I

I have a 3 w 50 that I am installing in a BUSA 1/4 scale Fokker DVII. I would like to install a 26X6 prop and wondered if the engine will turn this prop enough to fly the airplane without overheating. I think this prop will look good and with lowered RPM will sound more scale like. Thanks for your response....Jim

How much does the plane weigh? A 6 pitch would be very slow flight and I would expect that the 50 would only turn it in the 4500-5000 range.

Typically, 3w-50 are happy with 22 x 8 or 22 x 10 or 24 x 8.

Experimentation is the reason for the hobby, so try it.
