Hi all,
I'm new to this site & also new to gas engines. A fellow club member recently gave me a gas engine he's had for quite some time. I know that it is a Kioritz engine but dont know anything else about it. He couldnt remember either. From it's size, I'm guessing its either a 16cc or 21 cc. It weighs about 3 pounds and has a model number of GT1100 stamped on it. Can anyone tell me what cc this is by that model # and an idea of the HP it puts out? Any recommendations as to a plane to put it in? He has a 16X6 prop on it, maybe that will yield some clues?
Thanks for any info!

You have a 21cc kiortz (echo) engine vintage about 1991. It should have a walbro WYL-6 carb on it if is still stock. I have flown a Sig 4* 120 with one of those, it did leave a little to be desired but it did do a good job. Have Fun----Echo

Thanks for the info & reply echo, I appreciate it.
I guess then I should be looking for something in the 1.20 class plane with a weight of 10 lbs or so?
