Default wrong carb Q75?

THE carb on a 1983 Q75 , i think is wrong , wt529 ? does anyone know
what supposed to go on it ? might be A SDC 80 . THE THROTTLE arm on the wt hits one of the base mounting bolts, so it wont fully open.

My OLD Q75s both use the SDC 80 carb but the arms are considerably modified from stock. I'm thinking that any carb you get will have to have the arms modified to fit the application.

thanks for the reply , any info on 75s or 100 QUADRAS apreciated. i also have a Q100 and the SDC on it has a very modified
throttle linkage . it also has a CH Ignition. the 75 cylinder is the same one used on the canadian Pioneer p-51 chain saw.

i'll just run the small carb , for now . parts are almost impossible to find for these old beasts.

The SDC carbs appear fairly often on the 'BAY and they work very well on these engines. My 75s have a bellcrank that actuates the throttle and this was the Quadra factory setup. Works very well though.

There must be hundreds of the 65, 75 engines out there as these also appear quite often in the various for sale sites. It shouldn't be hard to find a crashed one for parts.
