I was trying to break in my RCG 26 for the first time and am having some problems. It will idle for about a minute then it slows down and stops. Also when it is idling if I open the throttle the slightest amount it stops.

sounds like the LSN is to lean

Close both carb needles(dont force them), reopen the highspeed to 1 1/2 turns and reopen the lowspeed 1 1/4, that should get you close to a good tune, dont forget it bneeds to breakin.

I have played around with the low speed, and it still has the same problem. I've tuned the LS rich so it fires every other stroke and after a minute it slows down and stops.

It is hard to break in when it only idles and for one minute at a time as if it is overheating at such a slow speed.

Check in next weekend And I'll let you know if I am still having the same problem.

It is working better now, it idles at about 2500-2800 and maxes at 7020 with a 18x6. What would one have to do to get these to run on alcohol?
