Frank Bowman ring

My Feedback: (3)
I bought a MLD 70cc twin for my third scale Fokker triplane. This engine simply would not hand start for me. I used a friends starter to get it going. Even after a few runs very little compression. Took the jugs off and everything looked ok to me. As I had bought this engine directly from China any real support probably would not be happening.
Anyway, while considering calling Troy Built and ordering a DLE 60CC twin to replace the MLD, I remembered something about some guy making rings for rc engines. Alittle resource and I found the name Frank Bowman. E-mailed him what I wanted and a few day later I had two new rings in my mailbox.
Installation was easy. Reinstalled the prop and gave it a flip and now had good compression. Not bad as it hasn't had any breakin time. Fueled up the engine and choked it with the ignition off with throttle all the way up and flipped it until I saw fuel coming out the exhaust. Choke off, throttle at high idle and ignition on. First filp and the engine was running.

More starts were just as easy.
Thanks Frank!!!
