Hi guys! I am looking for a needle valve extension for a saito gas engine. Does anybody make one for these engines? Thanks stash4466

a piece if 1/16" music wire will work in the end of the needle valve just fine. I've also had great success inserting a really small cap head bolt in there and then reaching not the cowl with the appropriate sized ball end wrench. Makes for a really clean install.

Yes, like Pete stated, there is a small hole in the center of the needle valve knob. and a set screw for it too. You loosen the set screw and insert a length of 1/16 inch piano wire bend it over as needed and cut the excess off.

+1 on the cap head screw for cowled engines!
I use a 6/32 for HS needles on my 4 strokes and gas engines. On my gas LS needles I use 4/40. My drivers are clearly marked with an H or S, you can't turn the wrong needle if you have the correct driver in your hand[8D]

The gas engine HS needle is similar to the glow engine HS needle where it has a grub screw in the end where a wire or bolt can be inserted and screwed down.
