Hello Everyone,
I am planning on putting a DLE 222 V3 in a warbird project I am working on. My question is if anybody knows what the width of the V3 (not sure if the V1 and V2 versions have identical measurements to the V3) engine is from spark plug boot to spark plug boot. In other words I need the overall width of engine with plugs and boots installed. After scouring the internet, all I have been able to find is the width measurement from end of cylinder to end of cylinder which is 10.1 inches. I need to make sure the engine will completely fit inside the cowl. I do appreciate any info. Thanks Jon

If you can believe Tower it is 246mm (9-21/32") tip of fins to tip of fins not counting the spark plug and boot and in another place it says 10.1".
