Default What engine is this?
Hi guys,

I'm contemplating selling my 96" wingspan Super Lazy Ace, and ID like to provide accurate info about the engine in the listing.

Does anyone have any idea what engine is shown in the attached pictures?

The engine uses a 22-6/10 prop.

Sachs Dolmar 3.7 or 4.2

A 22 X 6-10 at 6800 - 7000 rpm would most likely be a 3.7

it looks like a brison 4.2..which is based on a Dolmar...

Definitely a Sachs Dolmar. These old orange case engines were bruits in their day.

I have 3.2 and a 4.2 Dolmar chainsaws because I liked the Brison 3.2 & 4.2 airplane engines.

It is a cut out Sachs based engine.Could be from any no of Manuf.There were many of them could be a 3.7 but probably a 4.2.
