I have a Kangke Cap232 120 with a Brison 2.4. It was a used plane. It's been a love/hate relationship.
I was having engine trouble, rebuilt the carb twice. It's running GREAT. I put telemetry in since the last time I had it out. I have no idea what normal operating temp is. Any pointers?

That was the other thing about the blue diaphragm, my engine was running about 300 degrees while I was trying to tune it. With the tan, it was running 240 degrees. It's still four stroking some on the low end. I'm going to run it a while before I lean it out. The needles are set where Brison says they should be, but I believe the stock diaphragm was black. So it will likely need to be set a little more lean.
The first start on an empty carb and empty lines was less that 10 flips. It's never started that easy.

Just remember, there is no such thing as a "factory needle setting". Those settings are only good to (hopefully) get the engine running. From there you have to tune it yourself for your engine condition, carb variables, air flow variables, fuel, oil, prop, airplane, temperature, altitude, barometric pressure, humidity, and month of the year. Well ok, not the month, but yes, all the other things are factors in arriving at a proper needle setting. That is why the factory cannot give you a setting that will be at all ideal for your particular engine.

Brison give a range. They are adament that you should never need to change the settings. The only change they recommend is leaning the low speed needle in 1/16 turn increment if the engine stumbles.
That is why I'm trying to stay within their range of settings.
