Default DLE 20 carburetor

Hello this is my first time here I got a question I have a dle 20 engine and it is giving me some problemswith the carburetor I was trying to buy a new carburetor but it is out of stock my question is:Can I use a DLE 30 carburetor in a DLE 20 engine?the reason I ask is because DLE 30 carburetor is available at the store and they are about the same from outside I will preciate your help thank you very much in advance have a good night my name is Karel.

While they are very similar, the 20 has a much smaller venturi that many consider oversize as is. Where all have you looked for a carb? Can't believe all are out of stock. How about something like a Valley View 20 carb? Bolt on replacement and a genuine Walbro if you care about that.

thank you for your answer I'm new with this gas engine if you know any other carb that could be a replace sound good to me can you tell me exactly name or number to look for it thanks

The answer to your original question is yes, you can bolt the 30cc carb to the 20cc engine. Expect about a 500, plus rpm gain.

Why are you buying a new carb would be my question. Very few carbs just go bad. What are the issues you are having?

thank you guys for your help I just received yesterday the new carb and install it so I haven't tried yet I will try it tomorrow Sunday to see if the problem is solved

And as raptureboy requested, what problems were you having with the original carb? Just curious.

Same here. most problems can be fixed with out replacing the carb.
