APC sells a 17x8N prop that will work fine on your DLE.

One hundred owners serveyed: 49 using 16x8
............................................. .....48 using 17x6
What is the point of your question? use a 16x8 or 17x6 proven results.

I used a 16 x 8, mostly, until I switched to a 15 x 7 3-blade.

This information should include reasons ie ground clearance etc. and performance changes. Did you get better performance less the same. I've been thinking of trying a three blade.
please give a little more info.

Seems like I have to agree with most of the other opinions. I have and will continue to use a 16 x 8 prop on my 20cc engines. But then again, I may change manufacturers, wood, carbon fiber, etc. Guess, its just what I feel that I should be using while assembling the model.
