There is a write up in here on a much recommended by me and the guy who discovered and came up with a fix to a carb pump problem. The carb pulse hole ends in the reed cage. This causes the pulse hole in the carb to see only negative pressure pulses. The fix is to modify the carb and crankcase for a line from the crankcase to the carb pump pressure pulse side.
