Default Evolution 10cc gas

Hello
Is it possible to use the OS 46AX power box muffler with the Evolution 10cc gas engine as it fits the same bolt pattern. The reason I wish to use this muffler is, the original muffler just keeps coming LOOSE!! after every flight.
Cheers

If I had one, and it fit, I'd sure try it....

Worst case is you might be down a few rpm, but I wouldn't bet on that one way or the other without trying it.

I'm running the OS 46 muffler on mine and my engine runs better than ever. A slight loss in top end rpm but well worth it for the great idle and smooth transition. It's also very quiet. I had to lean the high speed needle a full half turn from where it was set with the previous Macs muffler. I think this was due to better fuel tank pressure.

Good to hear that that OS muffler works on the Evo 10cc. I have the Evo 15cc and also gave up on the stock muffler. I wound up with the OS Powerbox muffler for the .75AX and .95AX that's also used on the OS GT 15cc gasser. Very quiet, no noticeable loss of power and most important, it stays together
I think I heard that the new pumped version of the EVO 15cc will also be having a one piece muffler

Correct, the Evolution 15GX now includes a one-piece muffler, and the 10GX muffler is being updated to a one-piece design also.
