Default Broken lug on RCGF 20cc

I just removed an RCGF 20cc engine from a plane and found that one mounting lug was broken.
I've talked to the US and Canadian distributors for these engines and it seems that I'm outa luck on parts. I know less than nothing regarding welding, other than it gets real hot
If anyone has any suggestions as far as the possibility of fixing the engine, I'd be appreciated.
FWIW, I think a nice new DLE 20RA is really what I want for my project. The RCGF 20cc has been a sweet running engine, and I hate to just junk it

Thanks for the link!
Unfortunately Mine is an older style with a 2 piece crankcase that splits in two pieces.
Thanks again for responding,
Pete

Sounds like the need of a band saw is in order to me *L* All kidding aside A new back plate could be made or maybe the one you have now could be fixed.
Can you post some pics of it ?

Danged!
I forgot to attach them to the OP
Yeah, I think it's a headed to paperweight detail!
Looks like I'm going to be putting a new DLE 20RA on the new bird
Thanks,
Pete

That case can be fixed, but the cost would be more than what the engine is worth i'm afraid.
