Default Gas engine Storage?

What if anything are you guys doing to a gas engine if you are storing it for 6 month or more?
I am talking about a gas, not a glow engine.

I likely wouldn't do anything for maybe a year. After that, I'd moth ball it.

Leave about a quarter tank of gas in the fuel tank. Just brought mine out from the winter. Been setting for 6 months. Drained the fuel out and refilled with fresh fuel and it started on the fourth flip. Runs great. DLE 20RA . I do all my gas engines the same way and have not had any problems, yet.

Do exactly the same thing you do to your weed eater, leaf blower, chainsaw etc. What ever you do to them will be just fine with the RC gasoline engines. Personally, I just change NGK sparkplugs every Spring and that's about it. All my Zenoahs, Foxes, TMM's all run extremely well year after year.
