The reason I ask, is that I had one of these engines replaced under warranty and the new engine manual says that the HS needle setting is 3 turns out and the original manual said 1.5 turns out.
These are both the pumped carb version.
Maybe somebody with this engine can tell me where their HS needle is set on their 15GX2.

Thanks Pete,
Started the engine, HS at 1.5 which turned out to be a little lean so I ended up at 1.75
LS was initially set at 4.5 turns out (recommended in manual), but after tuning, ended up around 2.5 with good transition off the bottom.
BTW, the muffler has not leaked.....yet

The operative word here is YET
I have the early non pumped version of the 15GX. I gave up on the original muffler and got this one, a perfect fit, seems to have a little more power and quieter.
I would recommend the OS muffler for anyone who has problems with the stock Evo muffler

I've beat the heck out of my GX15, including a full throttle "dirt nap" when the elevator hinge (easy hinges) let go on my old 4 Star 60 beater
Best of luck!

I taped off the ends of the shiny band that joins the muffler and then RTV'd around the seams on the band, hopefully that will work.
My Sig 4 Star 60 however, is getting an oil bath breaking the engine in.
