I flew mine with both a Saito 125 glo then later converted it to a Valley View 20 gas engine that is exactly the same size and configuration as a DLE 20. I much preferred the 20 gas over the Saito.

I moved the tank out of the nose as is typical for gas engines and the CG was fine. The tank is now between the CG and the panel on two wood supports tied to each fuselage side. I thought the Saito was marginal power.

If you do go with a 20cc, you may want to consider the DLE20ra. Wbile it's a bit more money, you won't have to cut up the cowling as much.

More on the CG issue, these planes tend to build a bit tail heavy so they can easily tolerate the larger engine up front. Better a larger engine than useless added lead weight. A huge benefit to going with the 20 is the larger diameter prop it can pull compered to the common glo engines used in that plane. All around better performance at any speed.
