Default os120fs vs dle20

what is everyones experience with the dle 20ra is the power comparable to a os 120 four stroke? I have a nice dle 20ra that I was thinking of putting in a great planes ryan with a 80inch span should be around 12 lbs the plans say that it should use a 91-120four stroke. I pan on putting it on floats some times.

In my opinion, the DLE 20 is slightly more powerful than a OS120. I replaced as Saito 150 with a DLE 20 on a Great Planes Super Stearman and found it to be similar power. I did have to replace all the CA hinges with Robart hinges due to the increased engine vibration. I miss the four stroke sound and smooth operation, but I don't miss the price of glow fuel and the mess.

I agree. I replaced a Saito 1.25 on a profile with a DLE20. It's a little heavier but the power is up more than the weight differential. The sounds gets annoying from the 20cc but I like the way it flys better not to mention the benefits of using gas compared to glow.
