Where do I begin - " essay alert " 4 years ago I built up a Seagulls Models Edge 540 180 with a DLE 30..this ran fine but nothing special due to the lead I had to add to get balance right. A few weeks ago i fitted AGM 55 this transformed the plane to something that was nice to fly, it is still being run in and had about 6 flights with no problems, but now.
the engine is going up and down like petrol starvation at low throttle / verbaling / needs tuning. tried to tune at field with no success. Now home with canopy off noticed the throttle servo moving backwards and forwards with no input.
So is this interference bearing in mind this is not a new build, just a bigger engine.
Since then I have separated batteries, changed throttle servo, tried a different battery on ignition, tried the ignition from the dle checked switch.
Last off i started the engine and ran up to where the throttle was going backwards and forwards and turned the rx off , the engine runs fine . turn rx back on and i am back to the same problems with servo going backwards and forwards on it`s own. No I do not have a metal pushrod.....So whats next ?? ideas welcome and appreciated . Thanks

Have tried a different servo and different plug and yes its fully pushed on, next thing I am going to try is do away with all servo cables apart from power and throttle, then try again without switches. then it`s scratch head time, wont be today though as rain stops play.

My Feedback: (6)
Unbelievable. Really weird.
I once had a similar problem on the first test run of a new bird. It was the metal spark plug cap not fitting together properly, leaving a very thin slit opening. I re-crimped the plug cap back together to close it well, and interference went away.
I think that now, finally, everyone understands that 2.4 gb is NOT immune to interference as initially was bragged....
