Default Resurrecting an old ZDZ 60RV?

I have an old ZDZ 60RV that has been in storage for about 13 years.

I ran the engine dry and oiled it when I put it away. It turns freely
and doesn't feel gritty.

I already ordered a carb rebuild kit.

Short of a full tear down can anyone recommend things to check/try?

I'll have to look at the engine diagram again but I don't think I can
see the rear bearing without pulling the crank

Thanks,

MarkD

I have the same engine, and it's been boxed up nearly as long as yours. It had never been flown, only test run a couple tanks through it, I was able to see that the piston ring still had lubrication on it, even after sitting in a box for years. I mounted it up and started it and ran it as normal after it had sit for 10 years, no problems were detected and it runs great.
