Default Quadra 40 and US Engines 41 takedown help

I'm in possession of a US Engines 41 (comparable to a Q40?). I'm trying to access the crank case. Removed engine mount that holds the spring. Removed the 4 screws that hold the bottom case half on. Still the case won't split apart. Something under the flywheel seems to be holding it together. I've looked into pulling the prop post and fly wheel but I see now clear way to do it and I don't want to risk damaging the motor. Can anyone help me with info and / or diagrams regarding to removing the flywheel safely?

Thanks in advance for your help.

IT's been a while but I think you have to pull the flywheel off first. Use a gear puller and put some pressure on it. Not a ton, but some pressure. Now tap around the flywheel with a wooden/plastic mallet or hammer and try to get it to pop off. Once off I think there are 4 more screws you need to get out for disassembly.
