Default Anyone know what this engine is??

Bought a Hangar 9 cap 232 with this no name engine on it. No Engraving, casting numbers or marking anywhere but a decent quality lightweight electronic ignition beam-mounted gasser.
Looks to be 30-40cc at 2.5lbs.with walbro carb.

thanks for any help!

Better pics. He had a 17x8 APC on it. Didn't seem to have much power. Other than disassembly to measure piston, I don't know displacement.
Thanks for any help!!

That was my first thought but looking closer, it could be one of the Echo or other conversions done by the guy in MN that sold engines some years back. Can't remember the company name though. That split case below the mount lugs tells a story. Their 46 looked very much like this engine and they had several other different sized engines. Not sure if this is it or not but this might give you some direction to explore.

Edit: Memory finally worked: Company name was Brilelli.

Thanks all!!!
Truckracer, I believe your right -- a weeder convection from brillelli or someone. Other than forums, not much info out there anymore and sites are all dead. Not many pics to reference so don't really know what this is or what size. With 17x8 this must be small- maybe 26cc ish. Ran well but not over powering the 72" Cap. May just replace with an AGM 30 I just picked up. Lots more power and almost a lb. lighter.

Yup planenutzz... it's a crrc 40. Too bad I had to take it apart to measure piston before I searched 'CRRC'
Didn't seem to rev very high so never put a tach on it. Gettin 8600rpm w/ 17x8 APC so way under propped. Got a 19x6 comming. Should perform better with that.
Anyone know whos' jug/piston is used on this size?? Doesn't look like Echo or Sachs.
Thanks all!!!

Seems to me that 8,600 rpm on a 17x8 prop is a very respectable performance.
