DLE85 - open port cylinder vs closed port?
Hello friends,
I have noticed that the DLE85 engines come with two kinds of cylinders - with open ports ( i.e. no wall between the bore of the cylinder and the port itself ) and closed 'tea cup handle' shaped ports.
If you have experience with both of them, did you find any difference in performance? Usually it is believed that an open port version would have a 10-15% worse performance.
