I bought a ZDZ 80 single that had a EZM 1MC ignition. I see now that they use Falcon ignition. Does anyone know why they changed to this ignition? Don't want to take any chances with the EZM 1MC type if it had any problems. R.C. Showcase said to try it and see if it would work? I'd appreciate any info about this ignition

It is my understanding that they had numerous failures with the old ignitions, that is why they went with the Falcon.

If the failure occurred while under warranty, they were replaced. I do not know if they replaced the ignitions after that.
