Default DA50 and slimline muff. mount

Using the slimeline wrap-around muffler, on one end there is a hole to use the muffler support piece. After trying several geometries I don't see any that work very well for getting the support piece attached to the engine from the muffler.

Would you guys tell me what you did and if possible, show a PIC, that would be even better.

Thanks

The support attaches to the closest head bolt on that side of the motor( which would be L side, aft!). get the bracket lined up and the bolts started, then tighten the exhaust bolts and then the head bolt and last the retaining bolt on the muffler.

Deputydog,
I received my DA50 and Slimline muffler.
I figured out how the angled bracket works.
Whats the 1/8x5/8x21/8 inch plate for?
Thanks, Bob

I installed it without the bracket. Blue locktited the bolts and used high temp permatex as a gasket. Seems to be working fine. The plate goes on the out side of the muffler where the bolts go through to spread the force of the bolts evenly.

HTH
