Default US-41 Muffler

Hi AM,

I have chosen to power my scale Yellow Aircraft Zero with a US-41 which I got a month or so ago. Because of the placement of the firewall and the cowl, I can not use the included muffler (too big to fit behind the engine) without a lot of modifications to the airframe. I understand a lot of modellers are using aftermarket mufflers to solve similar problems.

Now the million $ question, a few people have just received the same engines from Tower which included a velocity stack and a very nice slim muffler as standard. I believe the muffler is being supplied now by Reid's but I could be wrong.

I'd like to get these newer items (muffler and velocity stack). What do you suggest? Should I just return the engine and get a new one or can you just arrange for replacements?

Thanks for your time,

Adil Nasim

Default Thanks for the reply !

I got tired of waiting and just got myself a B&B muffler that is built better and fits without any mods.

Now I know why majority of guys are flying the "other" brands! :disappoin
