Has Tower Hobbies discontinued the US line of engines? If so why?

Just received the latest Tower Talk and they still list them. 35cc Stock# TA3045 $259.99.
41cc Stock# TA3046 $279.99

They are listed as discontinued on the web by Tower.

But "Bennett Built" still lists them...

This does seem sudden, wonder if GP had a falling out with USE.

More likely they make more money from the Fuji line...

Hmm, strange. I was just looking at them 2 days ago and they weren't showing discontinued. That must have just happened. They do that. You are right, I did see that they are doing fuji now.

I think this will be another one of Tower's blunders ! A lot of large scale flyers want a budget priced gasser without having to "convert" an engine. These are decent little engines although a bit on the heavy side for the power given. Spring starter is nice for the price.....I wonder who will be wise and step up to the plate and take 'em on ?

A foot note to Tower Hobbies........WHEN will they use something new in the Tower Talk...?
