Default 3W-106 - Prop Choice

Anyone running the 3W-106 with in-cowl mufflers have an opinion on props? I'm looking for info on Biela, Menz and Mejzlik. Let me know which props, sizes, and rpm and how you like them. Also let me know which are a little rippy. Thanks.

Default RE: 3W-106 - Prop Choice

I ran a 27x10 Menz on my 106 for break in, ran it for about 4 gallons and was just cavitating the prop, so switched to a 3w 28x10 and it ripped it too, about 6400 rpm with that prop. Picked up to around 6650 with about 7 gallons through the motor, and ripped that prop too. The biela is comparable to the menz, so I would go with a 28x10 to start with. The 3Ws like the Fuchs props too. JMO.
