Mrs Cross,
I recently purchased a Lanier Taylorcraft kit from tower. What do you think about putting a US 41 in that plane?? I'm just concerened about the weight, and I really do not wish to go buy a g23. I don't think it will have near enough power.

Not knowing the aircraft well, but assuming it is like other Tcrafts I've ben around, your US41 will be way overkill for this aircraft. They call for a .91 2-stroke!
