Fox 4.8
Has anyone used a Fox 4.8 on a 16 -18 pound plane? A plane something like the new Wildhare 330 or the Edge 540. (84" wingspan) What do you think of the Fox 4.8?

That engine is too big for that plane. Keep the engine weight around 3 lbs.

Do you mean a Fox 4.2? If so, I had one of these on a 22lb Lanier Edge 540 and the power was good. I think it would be fine on a Wildhare Giles. Mine turned a Mejlik 24 -10 around 6900. Good luck.
