What plane?
I have a video on my site of me flying a new one on a Wild Hare 84" EDGE540T. Still breaking it in... started out with a 22-8 wood prop and that started ripping at a little over a gallon of fuel... so now onto a 3W 22-10 wood prop.

DP Edge is a 15 lb setup -with any 50 -
skimp all you want - I really doubt you will hit 14 lbs--(get ready for the "not if you use a --- )
It really only needs a good 40 - but the 50 setup is a corker -
I have built and flown same plane ---both ways - It actually balances -stock - best with a light 40 gasser.
Only problem--it is an Edge - I simply don't care for them -any of em.
Personal taste.
that and the aileron servo setup is a PITA
All in all tho - a very nice. light strong model.
The 3W 50 is a bit porky - at over 4 lbs - but runs great - we helped a friend setup one in a 18 lb model - that was a bit much
your Edge will be a bit nose heavy with that engine.and 16 lbs is a very realistic finished weight.
