I recently aquired a couple of older Q35's. They were intended to be used in a P-38.One of them has been set up to "turn-left" I would like to have it returned to normal operating direction. What is involved in making this change? Is this something I can do myself? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

James,
I believe you will find that the difference is the positioning of the flywheel on the crankshaft. It is likely that the flywheel has an extra keyway cut into it for this purpose. Pull it and have a look.
There are experts here that will confirm this, or tell me I am all wet.
No loss checking it out.

change the flywheel and the coil. The winding in the coil are wound in the opposite direction for reverse running. US Engines or Bennet Built should have the parts.
