Default Slimline vs. Bisson ??

Hi, I am looking for the lightest wrap around Pitts style muffler for my Brison 3.2 without compromising power. Both the Slimline and Bisson look good to me. Anybody have experience with these and what would the best for a Hanger 98 Cap 232 80". Thanks for any help[sm=idea.gif]

I have a J&A Peacekeeper on my Brison 3.2 and it seems to work very well... The Bisson looks very similar to the Peacekeeper and I expect it to perform about as well.

GalenB, Do you know how much the JA Peacekeeper weighs? I talked to the people at Bisson and there wrap around weighs 10 ounces. I believe the Slimline weighs slightly less.

The slimline is lighter than the Bisson but the Bisson is quieter.

I don't know what it weighs, but my plane needed to nose weight so it didn't matter... I also think the Bisson and Peacekeeper have more expansion space so they perform better...

I have never seen a peace keeper muffler, but if the expansion chamber is like the one on a bisson, then I agree.

The Bisson is quieter but also cuts down the revs by 200 on my Brison 3.2. & yes I did trim the ends.
I went back to the OE exhaust diverter since noise is not an issue where I fly.
