What's the difference between:
p/n ATC - Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil, 100:1 Pre-Mix, and
p/n ATP - Saber Professional 100:1 Pre-Mix
Which one should I use in my DA-50 after break-in?

Do you have links between those two. I think I am using the first one, but not the second.

I use the ATC synthetic 2 Cycle oil 100- 1 pre mix.
The Saber Professional was just released this year.

I am not sure about the difference between them. If it were me I would get a hold of the engine manufacture and ask them.

They are essentially the same the oil. AMSOIL has upgraded their whole line of 2 cycle oils.
The ATC 100:1 has be around over 25 years and due to new technoliges in 2-cycle vehicles
and equipement AMSOIL saw the need to rename and label the 2-cycle line of oils to help customers
select the most optimal 2-cycle oil for the their particular needs. The ATC and ATP are for
air cooled engines and are mixed 100:1, the ATC will be discontinued once supplies are depleated.
You may have noticed or heard that there is now an ATO which is a 100:1 pre mix just for outboard
engines. If you have any further questions feel free to give me a call at 1-800-481-2649 I am usually

Maybe that explains why Amsoil shipped me 8 bottles of oil when I only ordered 5. Can't beat that deal!

I just ordered 5 bottles from Airwild and got the new type. Yellow top. I prefered the older stuff because it had a higher flash point. I didn't have to worry about the oil vaperizing. What I have been told is that it will burn in the exhaust stream and not in the engine.

Hey Geistware, Are you refering to the cap when you say yellow top? The caps on mine are yellow also.

I never had any that were yellow, I thought it was the wrong stuff at first but I read the bottle and it looks ok..

I went to the motorcycle shop and asked for two cycle synthetic oil. They sold me Amsoil injector oil. It says on the instructions it can be mixed with gas and used in two cycle engines. Does anyone have any words of wisdom about this? It seems to work OK.

I used some BelRay syn. for injected two strokes and it gumed up a 3W50 in a matter of a few gallons, thought I would never get it clean.

I've used BelRay MC1 for years without any problems. I preferred the Amsoil 50:1, but it's hard to get locally, and as I mentioned the MC-1 works fine for me..................
