Default Tecumseh TCII TC300 clutch question

ok this isnt exactly rc related but i got this engine free from a local small engine repair shop that has a junkyard full of lawnmowers tractors etc. behind the shop and had this thing and gave it to me. its pretty new, id say between 2-5 years old maybe? anyway it has a centrifugal clutch on it. (pic is attached) is that halfway-between-a-square-and-a-diamond shape a common output shaft type in the clutches found in the big gas rc boats? (e.g. prather commander 2 proboat shockwave) i know that those boats use a "flex cable" which is like a shaft thats bendable right? well those are round. how can that hook up to this crazy sqaureish shaft? is there some kind of adapter i can buy? where can i get it and how much $$? i have an electric scooter im planning to put this on. it used a toothed belt drive. i would like to keep this drive if i can. the small pulley, which was on the motor, is about the diameter of a quarter, with a hole through it that the motor shaft went through which is about 1/4" diamter i think. there is a hole about 1/16--1/8 inch in diamter drilled through the motor shaft and the pulley so that when lined up a roll pin can be inserted through, obviously otherwise the shaft would just spin freely inside the pulley. (do you understand what i just said?) is there an adapter i could buy that would have a shaft this size that the pulley could go on? again this is why its not rc related im sorry i just figured maybe this clutch is something you guys might know. also i found out this thing is 50cc, 2 hp. isnt that a little big for an rc boat? i know commonly its like a 25-30 or so cc engine in your boats. even more important making/buying one of those boats is very expensive, i know i cant afford it, theyre usually near $1000 right? otherwise maybe i would make an rc boat out of it. but id like to use it in my scooter anyway.

thanks if youre able to help me! (or for reading this long post sorry)
