I just picked up two used MVVS engines, one 1.6 and one 2.15. I have searched everywhere I can think to look but can not find out where to get ignition batteries for these engines.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't they use the same packs as our radios? Like a 4.8v 600mAh NiCd or NiMH? I don't have any experience with MVVS gasser but that's what my Brison and BME use.

Yes... just use a 4-cell receiver battery... my 1.60 runs fine on a 600 mAh, but the battery doesn't hold too long under full power... an 800 or a 1000 would be better.

On my MVVS 1.60 gasser, I use about 475 mah out of a 700 mah pack in about 45 minutes of run time (3 flights for me). I would suggest a 1100-1400 mah pack, I will be upgrading mine this week.

Thanks for the replies. I take it these need to be Futaba connectors because my JR stuff does not work.

My twin magnet "Red Head" came with an ignition module using "uni" (JR/Hitec/AirZ) style connectors.
The manual recommends a 4.8 v 1200 mah pack minimum.
I too am trying the new 2100 NiMHy sanyo AA pack
