Need a recommendation for a 2.4 gas engine. I am looking for a cheap everyday good flyer to put a 2.4 on. I have been flying for about 3 years. I have flown high, low and bi wing planes. Please help with your recommendation.

the lowest priced 2.4 gass motor I have seen is the US Engines 41cc. $270, is a good motor for the money, but some heaver than others,,,
if you Email me I know where you can buy a ""NEW"" never started, still in the box Zenoah G38 for $250 plus shipping, this G38 is a left-over motor from my friend's Hobby shop that closed.

Are you asking for an engine recommendation or plane recommendation for a 2.4 engine?
If your looking for a 2.4 engine, I would go with a Brison 2.4. It is light weight, a good runner, and has good power all at a reasonable price. And customer service at Brison is excellent.

The Brison 2.4 work well in the Kange Texas Hurricane ARF 78" span and its looks allmost like a Edge 540 and a very stable flyer. I have had one with the fFPE 2.4 both with fixed ign and the updated sycrospark . The updated version fpe flys it ok but the Brison is still a little stronger. My current Hurricane has a Brison 3.2 on it and its awesome. The Hurricane is a top notch ARF and very easy to assemble.

My favorite plane with a 2.4 brison on it is the Ultra stick lite 120.
cost about 250.00 and is great fun to fly . there is a thread about this setup in the arf forum sorry I don't have a link for it , just search ultra stick lite and you'll find it .

You could get a GS TF P-51 ARF, kit, or ARC. You could also get a World Models Zero 80". The soon-to-be-release P40 Warhawk from Skyshark, a BT Spitfire if you are able to build from plans...
These are all planes I am considering for my own Brison 2.4 -- by all accounts the WM Zero seems to be a really great (easy) flier.
