Carb exposed outside the cowl??

Default Carb exposed outside the cowl??

I just realized that I have to make a cutout in my cowl to accomodate the carb on my Brison 3.2. Is there anything I should be aware of or should do with the carb hanging out? The engine is in a 27% Cap. Thanks in advance

Works fine on a 289cc twin on a 230+ mph race plane
