Hi all,
I´m new at this forum and on this website, and I would say it is a very good site. I try to get my luck in this forum about the experience of the MVVS 58.
I bought a new MVVS 58 for my YAK 54 (2,2m wing spread, full in GKF, flight weight appr. 8kg), but I didn´t start the engine, because many people say that the engine is not very good. Many other people say the engine is very good, a lot of power, but how it is with the life of the motor?! Anyone problems or something else?
I know there are many other post´s, but I really don´t know, if this engine is to recommend...
I will be very grateful, if someone can write about his experience with this motor, and how the motor runs in your aircraft, or what problems there are...
Thank you very much.
Greetings from Austria
Josef

Hi
I have a MVVS58cc that did some running in, so far no problems.... Brake in is with a 22x12, later on it will be a 24x10.
It has run 3 liters on a bench, but flying is different.
Starts easy, good trothle response. Have to play with the needles, but will do that in the plane.
It will power a C-ARF Extra 2.30 in the future, but to gain some experience and convidence in the engine i put in on a big Ugly-Stick like plane.
So not much new....
But i think you should try it and find out yourself. ;-)

There is information about this engine on the German sites I read.
RC-Network.de has some reporting.
For US readers - most information included rpm with The KS tuned exhaust systems
