I have a ZDZ 40 installed in a Midwest Extra 300, 80 incher. Weighs in
at 15.5 lbs. Engine has less than 3 gallons thru it, and is starting to get
stronger.
The problem is that the Pitts style muffler that came with the motor keeps
coming loose. Three times now. The last time, I used a large amount of
Loctite Red when I remounted the muffler. Still came loose. Screws and
mounting threads were properly cleaned. Please, what's the solution?

I had the same problem with my ZDZ40, What I did was to run the engine until it was hot and then gave the bolts a quick snug, so far so good, 50 flights and still holding.

You can also safety wire it. Go to the hardware store and pick up a longer bolt, then get a washer that will fit it and go over the hole, drill the bolt head and then safety wire it to the other. It will never come loose again, yet is easily removed.
