Default Flexable Ehaust

I am looking for some flexable ehaust tubing. I have some smaller but I need 1" ID. I am welding up an aluminum exhaust for my 5.8. The exhaust and manafold are seperate to get the mass off the engine.

R/C manufaturers would be great but would like to find out who sells the stuff to them. It's kind of like the Springair valves. You can go direct to the pneumatic distributers and buy most of their valves for about 1/3 of what Spring Air charges.

I'll look at it. Is it totally sealed, solid or crimped? I have some smaller flex tubing but I can't remember where it came from. I got it about half welded up today. Looks good, at least after I hit it with a grinder.

B&B has flexible tubing for exhaust. I'm using 2, two foot sections from my cut off Bennet Built muffler to my scale exhaust locations on my Yellow P-47. Works great! Just use BVM Heat Shield around the fuselage exit or around the cowling for heat shielding. Secure it with Gray Silicone at any auto parts store.

That B&B flex pipe looks exactly like Flexible natural gas pipe with the yellow jacket removed. You can get scraps from a HVAC company or appliance dealer that installs gas equipment for free. This pipe squeals like a pig when you blow thru it, it may made your exhaust louder.

I've been using some flex pipe that looks just like it but it is one peice. It is corugated but solid; no joints/holes. I just could not find it in 1"id.

Stainless flexible gas piping is available at Home Depot/Lowe's. I use this on a Saito 1.00 with great results. Comes in different diameters, too.
