Does anyone know what model the G22 original carb is, I can't find any numbers on it? I have installed it on my Weedeater(21cc) engine,BUT near WOT, it sounds like it's throaty or gasping for either fuel or air-last 25% doesn't produce an increase in speed.

WA125, no longer made....If the last 25% produces no more rpm the prop is either too large or the pitch is too much...That last 25% doesn't make much difference in the amount of air flowing through the carb anyway, if you look in there the disc is about as far open as it can get at about 3/4 throttle...
There is a new carb I found that has a larger venturi and has a choke, it's a WT662, 11.1mm, $38.80 retail....

Prop is 16/6 Classic. I am going to have to get a tach. I am a technical person and should do these checks correctly. I did set the needles as they should be. I will order the carb. But first, I have to take my Craftsman WE apart as it has a 25cc -looks like Weadeater engine- crankcase cover looks exactly like the one I have on my Stinger, now. It might provide an extra boost of power. I am using the stock mufflers for now.
