IT DOES'NT HURT TO MIX IN A LITTLE SEAFOAM OR ANY GAS PRESERATIVE IN IT AND RUN IT ALITTLE WHILE BEFORE PUTTING IT AWAY FOR WINTER.

Run the carb dry, making sure you don't have any residual fuel mix in it, and forget it for the winter.

I've actually found that gas engines (especially DA's) don't do well being stored in cold, Northern climates. Somehow they just seem to loose their "spirit" when not allowed to pull an R/C plane around the sky for several months.

I would be much better just to remove them from the plane and ship them to me, so I can keep them in use all winter long in our 12 month flying weater in SE Texas !

(Hey...I had to give it a try!)

That's interesting.

I heard that DA engines tend to loose their power when using them 12 month long. RLDIII, send me your engines and your planes and i'll store them, just for you!
