Can't directly answer your question, BUT..........
I have ran a couple of the Taurus engines. They were pretty much equal in power to engines in the same class. They are typically smoother than comparable engines. The only thing that I thought would be beneficial from redesigning would be a weight reduction.... I do not know first hand, but I would have to assume that if Bill did anything to these engines it would be maybe a small power increase and a weight reduction.... Can't imagine going the other way.
