I am thinking about purchasing a Quadra 35 used and wanted to know some info on it. How easy are they to hand start and what kind of power should I expect. What RPM will it turn what prop is what I want to know basically. I'm thinking about putting it on a stik I have for just sport flying.
Thanks,
Norman Ross

With mine I just prop it until gas reaches the carb. Full choke, full throttle IGNITION OFF. I then prop it 3 or 4 more times. Then, LOW THROTTLE, full choke, ignition on. Prop till it pops. You have to pull the prop thru as fast as you can to get a good spark. Once it pops then a couple of clicks throttle, ignition on, choke off. It should start in a couple of flips. It is my experience that once you learn to flip it fast it is fairly easy to start.
Power, mine runs about 7,200 with an 18x8 Zinger.

Looked but can't find the instructions right now. Work bench is full of 30% CAP. It is the same weight as the US 35 since it is the same engine.
When I run across it I will post it.
